Amasango skills workshop
Amasango Career School is located on the edge of the township in Grahamstown/Makhanda in part of the old station yard. Amasango is a special needs school in South Africa that enables that enables marginalised young people to thrive by gaining an education and vocational skills.
There are two streams to the curriculum the upper school, academic and vocational. We have funded the materials for the skills unit at the school enabling them to progress learning of sewing, tailoring and craft skills. Alongside this basic business skills are being taught.

Beauty skills salon
The Friends of Amasango in the UK has provided funds for a purpose-built container to act as a beauty skills training workshop.
Khanya is supporting this new initiative by paying for the training of hairdressing and barber tutors.
